Two to stand trial in September death of rap musician in KCK

The Kansas City Star

Two men were ordered today to stand trial in the September killing of a rap musician who performed as Creepyface.

A Wyandotte County judge ruled after a preliminary hearing Friday afternoon that there was probable cause to try Michael McKeehan, 26, and Daniel Barlett, 29, on charges of first-degree murder in the death of Chad Ford.

Ford, 37, was fatally shot Sept. 24 in Kansas City, Kan., during what authorities described as a rolling gun battle between the occupants of two vehicles.
