Reward tops $5,000 in dog breeder’s killing in KCK

A reward of $5,050 is being offered for information in the December killing of a nationally known dog breeder and showman in Kansas City, Kan.

Peter Belmont, 70, was found dead Dec. 17 inside his home in the 3000 block of North 115th Street.

His sisters recently added $4,050 to the reward, which is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects in the case.
