KCK police seek ID of body found in burning car

Kansas City, Kan., homicide investigators are asking the public for help to identify a man found dead inside a burning car late Saturday night.

Firefighters found the body after extinguished the fire in a sparsely populated, secluded area in the 200 block of Greeley Avenue.

The red 2012 Lincoln MKT was registered to Avis car rental, police said.

The victim was estimated to be 40 to 60 years old. He had a full set of upper dentures and a partial set of lower dentures, according to police.
