Kansas City police today identified a man shot to death Monday night as 20-year-old Ashton Oguinn of Kansas City.
Police responding to a report of shots being fired found Oguinn dead on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of South Benton Street about 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Witnesses told police that two teens were seen running from the area right after the shooting.
No suspects were in custody this afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
