A man shot to death Thursday in east Kansas City was identified this morning as 20-year-old Ryan K. Taylor.
Taylor, of Kansas City, was fatally shot about 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue.
Witnesses told officers that Taylor had just gotten out of a vehicle and was walking up the steps of a house when two suspects started chasing him. The suspects fired multiple shots. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.
