Kansas City police have identified a person found shot to death Thursday near as David L. LeFever, 28, of Kansas City.
Officers dispatched on a reported shooting found LeFever sitting inside a vehicle about 3:15 p.m. Thursday at 27th Street and Park Avenue. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Detectives encourage anyone with information about the shooting to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
